TASTE THE WORLD
As mentioned earlier, Shelton Brothers’ goal was to bring to bring the tastes and traditions from around the world back to the United States. In essence, they allowed you to travel without leaving your house… or at least the bar. Once they began the tour arm of the company and we physically brought people to the source, it made me want to reinforce the company’s original goal. What better way than with old fashioned travel posters? I have been a huge fan of the American WPA posters from the 1930s, specifically the ones designed for the National Park Service. With this project, I was able to promote the suppliers in the Shelton portfolio, while paying homage to these great unknown designers.
